just wanted to update you guys on my plans for wizard world philly 2012. as it turns out, it'll be my only convention of 2012.

i'll be in artist alley on saturday, june 2 and sunday, june 3 only. i won't be able to make it on thursday night or friday.

i'll be bringing a bunch of screenprinted posters as well as some giclee prints. here's a partial list of what i'll have:

i'll be doing an in-store art show and signing at the awesome, new comics and more in the king of prussia mall. the management at the shop have graciously given me a slot in their new first friday art show lineup and i'm superexcited to get out and meet some some local comic nerds like myself.

i'll have a framed selection of my screenprinted posters for sale and i'll also be glad to sign copies of my new series of g.i. joe covers or any of my mondo prints that folks have bought over the past few years that weren't already signed.

the show will also mark the debut of my 1962spider print.

an email sent to me today tipped me off to a nice feature written about my work over at mental floss, a really cool facts/arts/info/trivia/all-around-cool-stuff blog. i was unaware of the existence of this site until today, but i'll be sure to keep checking back, as it seems to be right up my alley!

now that i've finally seen "thor", here's my ranking of the marvel movies so far:

1. iron man
2. captain america
3. thor
4. incredible hulk
5. iron man 2

even though "iron man 2" comes in last, i still love it, which speaks to the overall quality of these flicks, IMO.

anyone have any objections to my ranking?

i've had a lot of posters drop lately, so this is just a quick post to keep everyone up to date:

• first off, a huge thanks to everyone who snagged one of my cowboys & aliens posters from mondo. i was honored to be part of the series and the quick sellout was icing on the cake.

• gallery 1988's pee wee herman tribute show, "i know you art, but what am i?" opened on july 29th and my "kaiju pee wee" prints are now available online.

• finally, gallery 1988's  annual "crazy 4 cult" show is nearing its completion and a handful of my shining-inspired "room 237" posters are still available.

"room 237" my new, shining-inspired, limited edition screenprint is now available for purchase.

the poster debuted at gallery 1988's annual crazy4cult show on july 8.

yeah, this is creeping up one me, so i guess it's a good time to announce that i'll be exhibiting in artist alley of the boston comic con on april 30/may 1, 2011!

we've heard only great things about this show, so dave perillo, scott derby and myself will trek north to attend. the guest list is exemplary and included the likes of art adams, adam hughes, j. scott campbell, and frank quitely.

i can not wait for this one.

so, today's the day that my retailer incentive cover for GI Joe #26 hit stands. it's my first comic work and i couldn't be prouder.

problem is, i'm not sure how many of these retailer incentives exist or how they're doled out to comic shops, so i have no idea where i can pick one up. on top of that, my local comic shop is in currently closed as they transition to a new space.

if anyone has their paws on a copy, i'll gladly trade you some signed prints in exchange for it. lemme know.
